Fort Macleod, Alta _ Sept. 15, 2018 _ Baby On Board _ Joel Lybbert of Valleyview, Alta. spins his horse Calling Hollywood with two_month_old baby Tylie aboard. Horse trainers from throughout Alberta and one from BC gathered at Fort Macleod for the Rocking Horse Ranch Colt Starting Challenge Sept. 15 at the Midnight Stadium. Competitors perform a routine of 11 compulsory tasks in front of judges. Trainers are also given a three_minutes in a Wow Factor competition to demonstrate other freestyle horsemanship. Nanton, Alta _ July 22, 2017 _ Still in the saddle _ Wilson MacDonald of Roseburn Ranches near High River, Alta. manages to stay in the saddle which ripped off the horses back during the Bronc Riding event at the Nanton Ranch Rodeo where 16 ranches from Alberta and one from Douglas Lake BC competed July 21, 22.
